1.Community/society mobilization:
WCM will use community mobilization as a first step in implementing its programs/projects to raise community awareness about health, hygiene, the value of education in today’s world, gender issues, socio-economic development, and environmental protection. WCM will host community meetings, conduct training/capacity development workshops, and develop a team for this purpose.
2. WCM Mobile Clinic
A mobile clinic that travels to the heart of the rural areas that provides prevention and healthcare services. WCM will Provide direct community outreach and health education programs that target the rural populations—improving and extending the quality of health care through activities such as health education, essential health screening, and facilitating access to services offering informal counseling and social support, working as advocates and linking people to programs that help illness self-management. It entails screening and testing and counseling, and OTC (over-the-counter) medicine conducted through the mobile unit. Ministers will also present the Word of God and pray with those in need.
